Rosie`s Restaurant in New Oxford

For the food I'd give a 4.5 but everything else was just not great. The environment and service was terrible in my opinion. I don't let things like that get to me, I really don't care but if you don't go there much you can tell you aren't welcomed warmly.

Staff were very attentative. Food was delicious.

Would give zero stars if I could! My 14 yr old daughter ordered a salisbury steak. No where on the menu does it say that there is peppers and onions in the steak. My daughter does not like peppers or onions. Not to mention the gravy on it was discusting! What if she wouldve been allergic to peppers or onions? The owner refused to take it off the check. Told them we will NOT be coming back! False advertising on the menu! Very poor customer service!

Happened to be in New Oxford at lunchtime and found this place. Old school diner style place (yes you can even sit at the counter). Good selection of food and they serve breakfast all day! I got their cheese steak omelette which was awesome. Lots of locals stopping in to eat which is always a good sign! Would stop here again if in the area. Nothing fancy, just good home cooking.

Amazing little family owned place. Home cooked food. Owners and staff are wonderful. Thursday nights there's a country band. Great spot.

One of the few places in central pa that you can get good grits. Excellent breakfasts and omelettes.

I love Rosie's Restaurant there's so many different types of foods the waiters can be a little nosey though today I asked for the card soup thing with bread but I asked for them to separate the soup from bread and one of the lady's that worked there with purple hair then told my waitress that she can't do that and I have to order it, in the bread. I should be able to order it however I want. Other than that just please tell your waitresses that people should be able to order the soup how they want please and thank you. Great Restaurant I would recommend to other people. Thank you for your time.

They have reasonably priced good food, but don't go here on a Saturday night we waited a hour for our food.

Classic American breakfast food at a very inexpensive price. My favorites were the extra crispy bacon and the potato chip style sliced potatoes. Service was friendly and food came out quickly and was hot.

Rosie's is my favorite place in the Hanover area to get breakfast. The staff is always super friendly and the environment of the restaurant is laid back and has a diner like feel to it. The food is also darn good while also being cheap. I strongly recommend going here for a good meal.

The owner was unfriendly & stand-offish , Service was slow at 2:30 on an afternoon with hardly any customers , quality/ portion of food, and prices was reasonable for a hometown eatery.

Absolutely without a doubt the best omelette I've had on this side of PA, and pretty cheap too! Has a real hometown feel, almost retro. This is my new favorite place for breakfast in the area.

Basic locally owned diner type restaurant. Nothing fancy. Good food and reasonable prices. Simple decor. I had the Hungry Man breakfast for $7.05. Hit the spot!

Food has always tasted good. Ever since i was a little kid. That being said the service has gone down hill significantly. Wether we order in or order to take out it seems more often than not the employee is rude. I mean rude to the point it makes you not want to give them your hard earned money. It gives me no pleasure to say you can get better service at other places. Just not worth it anymore.

Just moved to New Oxford and found this little restaurant. Very cute and clean. Staff was great as well as the food. I look forward to going there more often.

I dine regularly here, always have good service and good food. Definitely more bang for your buck than chain restaurants.

Honestly I fell in love with this place the first time. Just a perfect little restaurant with a friendly waitstaff, unassuming decor and quick yummy food. What’s not to love? It’s not P.F. Chang’s but it doesn’t need to be! Small town PA good-for-the-soul cooking.

Prices are very reasonable. The omelette was great. Unfortunately the pancakes were not very fluffy.

I have been going here since I was a kid and I would go every Saturday with my buddies for breakfast. I love the food and it is great every time but sometimes the service can be slow. I am a patient person so it does not bother me too much. Overall the atmosphere is very friendly and I have never had a bad meal. Would highly recommend.
